Apparently I’ve been living in a hole (or a cable-less apartment) lately, the landing is tonight! Guess they’re even streaming the JPL feed into Time Square – cool!

Update: 10.39 PM PST – Wheels on the ground of Mars!!! Wow, yet another marvelous engineering feat from NASA/JPL. Truly exciting watching the live Ustream. Mars Odyssey’s signal was strong enough to relay the first few thumbnail images right after the successful sky crane needless to say the various ground teams were ecstatic. Amazing stuff.
