Map

This map is based on near-real time GPS data collected via GlobalStar (err, I mean SPOT) and APRS.  This map should track all data across the span of my trip, as long as there is a signal and coverage.  If you’d like an individual view of the data, the links are below.

Wow you are in Canada already? Have you taken any breaks from driving yet? How did the border check go?

Made it to PR early this AM, damn what a long drive (19hrs). BC is gorgeous and bummed I’me missing so much during the drive. Departing on a Ferry up to Haines today, will finally be able to relax a bit assuming I don’t fall asleep now and miss my boarding :) Time for more caffeine.

Congrats on making it to invuik, you going to sign up to be an ice road trucker now?

Would definetly like to drive this route again in the Winter time, locals say April is a good month. If you plan right, you can head all the way up to Tuk.

I’m staying in Dawson City again for a couple days, will finally get some posts updated. Made it to the Arctic Ocean and Tuk via Cessna, really interesting town. Looking forward to Alaska next week ;)

    How are you digging Fairbanks?

    • gregr401

Ha, skipped most of it, just restocking. Lots of military there. Went out to Chena Hot Springs to camp and saw my first Moose (actually, a momma and baby). Frieking huge! Staying in Denali for a few more nights, gorgeous here with the fall colors. More pics manana. How’s everything in OH?

yeah I saw my first Moose in the Grand Canyon, and it made an SUV likes yours look small! lol they are massive, and never would want to piss them off.

        Ohio blows as usual.

We’re looking forward to seeing the moose pictures. Was Speed ready to play with them?
